What We Do
The Engeye Teen Connection is a group of dedicated teens that work together on various projects to assist the people of Ddegeya Village in Uganda. We have taken on various projects including shoe drives, walk-a-thons, craft fairs, school supply collections, pancake breakfasts, online fundriasing campaigns, and many more.
Engeye Teen Connection (ETC) is a group of teens committed to supporting Engeye and the Engeye Scholars missions. The ETC board of directors includes Brian Hickey, Sara Weinman, and Greg Hickey. Together, these inspiring teens and their peers have done an outstanding job of helping to educate about the people of Ddegeya Village, raising both support and awareness for Engeye. ETC is made up of committed teenagers who want to make a difference in the lives of children and adults in Ddegeya Village. They feel compelled to help the children of Ddegeya and are motivated to truly make a difference in the lives of children. Together, these teens are working to help raise awareness and advocate for the villagers of Ddegeya, many of whom live on just a dollar a day.
ETC members believe you are never too young to help change the world. If you are teenager who would like to get involved – please contact us to find out how you and your friends can join us with our next project or how you can host your own fundraiser!
Our Mission
To improve the lives of the people of Uganda through teen outreach. The goal of each project that we undertake is to unite ambitious young adults together in an effort to work together on a variety of projects to work to help those in a village worlds apart.
